Digital Equity Walk
The Digital Equity Walk is an initiative organized by the Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education (MBAE) aimed at addressing the digital equity gap in Massachusetts. This activity serves as a platform for stakeholders to engage with data, fostering awareness and understanding of the insufficient access to computer science coursework and existing demographic disparities within the state.
As a design fellow at BU Spark!, a student innovation center at Boston University, I collaborated with my colleague Bliss Parsons and Ziran Li to support this project. Our responsibilities included reviewing MBAE’s data sets, sketching narratives, and creating visually engaging digital and print materials to present the information effectively.
